Ford Museum Grand Re-Opening!

June 7, 2016 (Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum, Grand Rapids, Michigan) —

About a year ago Susan Ford Bales let me know that her dad’s museum in Grand Rapids would be closing for an extended period of time during new construction and for a major re-work of the permanent exhibits. The photo above shows Steve Ford speaking at the museum’s grand re-opening last Tuesday. I am so excited…this is what I have been waiting for!

Now it’s time to “ramp up” my fundraising (book sales) effort — big time. It’s time for me to plan my trip to the Ford Presidential Library and Museum to accomplish one of the final steps in getting my book ready to go to the editor.

So…I’ve set a goal of pre-selling at least 100 books before the end of June and dropped the cost for one signed copy, including shipping, to just $50.00 — but only for the remainder of the month of June. It’s a win-win…you save and at the same time help me get this amazing project “across the finish line”!

So here’s what I hope you will do…

I’m excited to see this project so close to completion. The text is nearly done and this trip to Michigan will be a huge step in wrapping everything up and completing the goal of writing and designing a beautiful coffee table style book that will honor an amazing American family and share a never before told story about an fascinating time in our nation’s history.
