The bulk of the writing is complete…the first draft designs of the front and back covers are finished…pre-publication discussions have begun…and the grand re-opening of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum took place last Tuesday.

Now I need your help to get this project over the finish line! By pre-ordering your book today you will help fund my trip to Michigan…to the Ford Library in Ann Arbor and Museum in Grand Rapids.

My funding need is for a 7 to 10 day trip to do research at both the Ford Museum (Grand Rapids) and the Ford Library (Ann Arbor). The Museum always brings special memories to life, and the Library is a treasure trove of original and digital files including photographs, presidential daily diaries and schedules, presidential notes, and so on. Funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will help defray the following expenses:

• Purchase of about 125 high-resolution digital photos from the Ford Library
• Travel and lodging expenses for photo and document research at the Ford Library
• Pre-publishing expenses
